I finished up Genesis today. There were so many intense stories of the lives of the people of the Bible. I got mad at Laban a few times. Jacob's commitment to continue to serve him was amazing.

So far it seems that there is a ton of drama in the book of Genesis and the unfolding of God's plans for the specific people he mentions. Abraham, Sarah, Isaac and now Jacob. One thing that is very interesting is that God reveals Himself to each of Abraham's sons at a determined time and reiterate... View More

Was the garden of Eden a specific place that was safe? How did the serpent get in there? I know it doesnt say. Maybe it disguised itself as a snake.
Luella Eden was a specific place. Your question about how satan entered the garden is a great question. I have no clue other than the scriptures indicate he has been allowed to go around where he pleases on earth. Job 1:7.
Sandra, never thought about that scripture in Job. But the eyes of Eve were that she did not recognize who he was. And I think its before the fall so Adam and Eve had to depend upon the Lord for guidance. I don't believe they had eaten yet of the fruit from that garden. It's very deep. Before t... View More
